NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECH
The
Nuclear Med Tech
is under minimal supervision, performs basic Nuclear Medicine procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing healthcare services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is skilled in the area of Nuclear Medicine. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in Nuclear Medicine, or the CNMT. Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license.
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
