Mechanical Engineer

Direct/ Salaried role, $100k-$140k ish, Full Bene’s, Bonuses, ESOP, ENR top 500
EPC STAFF is searching for a Mechanical Engineer for one of my clients, an engineering systems integration company, to work onsite between the offices and construction sites at one of the largest Themed Entertainment companies in the world.
OVERVIEW The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for project requirements with systems design, structural/ load/ stress/ fatigue/ reliability calculations, system installation, check‑out, and start‑up support.
ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement fully integrated mechanical assembly systems
Hazard analysis, class 1 parts – optimize redundancy, minimize points of failure
System configuration and design documents, including description of operation, mechanical system design description, system implementation/ acceptance test plans, system routine maintenance plans
Mechanical design, assemblies, and installation procedures in AutoCAD and/ or SolidWorks
Design and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
REQUIRED SKILLS/ HIGHLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
BSME or similar
SolidWorks and A/CAD
FEA/ Stress
Robotics, mechatronics, kinematics, conveyers, material handling, servo/ stepper motors, sensors, computer vision, motors, mechanisms, linkages
Themed Entertainment/ Amusement Park ASTM standards (preferred)
