The Business Analyst will work closely with the Program Manager and will be responsible in preparing, analyzing and tracking financial progress associated with government contracts. Successful candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized and self‑starting. Should possess knowledge and capabilities to perform tasks related to budgeting, planning, tracking and cost/financial analysis. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and program managers with competing priority levels. Under direct supervision will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects. Participate in the development of budgets that lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baselines. Track project costs and commitments, schedule performance, and monitors performance against the baseline with full variance analysis and explanation.
Develop and maintain forecast models.
Review and approve company invoices.
Assist in the preparation of contract change orders.
Assist in reviewing travel requests and maintaining the travel database.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
Knowledge of government financial and cost accounting.
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
