Position Summary
Financial analyst’s primary responsibilities will include, among others:
Overseeing and managing all aspects of the title agent acquisition process from start to finish.
Leading due diligence efforts to assess the financial and operational viability of potential targets.
Providing core financial planning analyses, creating financial models that can support business decision making apart from developing regular forecasts and budgets for the business segments.
Aggregation of large amounts of financial data while also taking into account factors like financial market trends and past transactions of a similar nature for development of key analyses / models.
Performance of ad‑hoc analyses to support executives with the information needed to drive business goals successfully.
Communication / Presentation of results of analysis in a clear manner along with ability to interact comfortably across organizational levels.
Other Essential Functions
Assist in the fiscal processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with leadership to enhance workflow, provide business solutions.
Partner with key leaders to set financial & strategic direction for the business function/unit.
Serve as the key participant in the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for the assigned business function/unit.
Monitor and report on key market/geographical and competitor trends.
Work closely with key leaders to populate, analyze, justify, and publish the budget and forecast.
Initiate analysis of spends, returns of investments, trends, and metrics for the assigned business function/unit.
Provide both written and verbal financial variance explanations during the close, post‑close, and as periodically requested.
Publish monthly financial, variance explanations, and other needed performance reports and participate in the recurring calls to review/discuss.
Assist in the disbursements originating from the assigned business function/unit.
Identify any needed accounting procedures, workflows, models, and/or systems to improve the financial process.
Analyze, educate, and recommend changes to accounting operations policies and procedures.
Describing and explaining the financial stability of Westcor/Ardan to lenders/borrowers/law firms to gain approval for transactions.
Participate in special projects, ad‑hoc information gathering, and/or reporting requests from leadership.
Establish and maintain an effective system for maintaining accounting files and records.

Education, Formal Training, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent training and related work experience.
3‑5 years’ of Finance experience with a well‑established mid‑sized to large organization with relevant experience in performing financial and business analyses, business presentations to executive teams, financial modeling and communication across organizational levels.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands This role is mostly sedentary and requires the ability to sit for long periods each day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate orally. The employee uses hands and fingers to type, handle, and reach. The ability to operate office machinery such as computer, phone, copier, printer, etc. in the commission of daily duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
