Manufacturer of hospitality furniture has an immediate opening for a drafter.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for taking products and projects from drawings to complete 3D design using Inventor and AutoCAD.
Qualified candidate must have experience working in a furniture, wood working environment and must have working knowledge of Autodesk, AutoCAD basic job functions.
Entry Qualifications:
Autodesk, AutoCAD--must have knowledge of advanced AutoCAD (client is currently running 2016 and 2017)
Preferable knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Pro
Desirable experience in woodwork, millwork fixtures and seating
Knowledge of CNC will be a plus
A creative approach for generating new ideas
A good knowledge of how to use Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
An excellent grasp of engineering & design principles
Excellent communication skills
An understanding of manufacturing processes & construction methods
Good team working skills
Good mechanical aptitude & knowledge
Self-motivated & highly organized
Spanish bilingual would be a plus
Essential Functions:
High School Diploma with college prep classes/training on Inventor Software
Minimum of 2 years drafting certificate from Technical College or an associate's degree, a plus
Minimum of 2 years layout drafting experience, a plus
Basic understanding of engineering principles
Pay $24.00-$28.00 per hour.
