Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Supervisor, the Manufacturing Technician 2 assists in processing human perinatal tissue products using aseptic techniques, according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Policies. This position requires a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in processing necessary to produce and assess products for use in clinical research and clinical trials. Proficiently function within an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment, ensuring personal safety and product sterility. Consistently produce accurate and clear documentation of all procedures. Maintain required training and certifications. Perform and document autoclaving and manufacturing preparation activities. Help maintain the cleanliness and organizational standards of laboratory, including performing routine cleanroom cleaning events. Other related duties as they arise Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field preferred. Applicable experience in a clinical laboratory, hematology, blood banking, immunology, or preferably cGMP manufacturing site is required. Aseptic/cell processing and cleanroom experience essential. Ability to think strategically and tactically (detail-oriented) and possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong collaborative and influencing skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task is essential. EOE
