About the Role Large Law Pricing Analysts play a critical role in helping us implement our pricing strategies, maintain pricing integrity and deliver the best value to our customers. Our Pricing Analysts generate quotes, create proposals, draft business terms in contracts, manage our pricing and selling rules and more. Pricing Analysts sit an exciting intersection of sales, finance, operations, product and more in our business. Responsibilities
Generating individual price quotes by following our pricing framework and using established benchmarks, calculators and guidance documents to make sound business decisions
Creating proposals for large, complex portfolio renewals, including (1) gathering and understanding contracts and invoices from array of internal databases, (2) using custom reports and dashboards to validate customer spends, (3) researching and reconciling sometimes conflicting data and information, (4) writing Excel formulas and performing other calculations to establish renewal floors and (5) making critical notations for more senior pricing team and sales team members
Drafting business terms in contracts and liaise with our contract managers and attorneys for redlining and legal questions
Drafting, updating and providing overall management of our pricing and selling documentation; ensure accuracy, thoroughness and ease of use of our collection
Helping more senior pricing team and sales team members gather, validate and reconcile data and information with a keen eye towards organizing and presenting information and an easily-digestible format to aid quick, sound decision-making
Providing first-line deal approval support for select product portfolios by validating quotes, reviewing counter offers and making decisions within established frameworks
Becoming an expert on our selling and pricing rules; serve as a key resource to more senior pricing team members, sales teams members and other internal stakeholders
Becoming an expert on our content architecture; develop a deep understanding of our offerings, transactional pricing rubric and… to validate subscriptions, keep our offerings up-to-date, ensure contracts are completed correctly and answer questions
Requirements
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
Have previous experience in pricing, sales operations, finance or related role a plus, but not required
Have great mathematical aptitude, business acumen and comfort with numbers
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to write basic formulas, apply formatting, create pivot tables and assist with basic report creation and queries
Have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $48,900 - $81,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
