Job Description Rate of Pay:

TBD for the 2025-2026 school year. Currently $25.51 per hour, DOE. Paid once monthly in equal installments.

Schedule: 200 Work Days per year

PERS Retirement : The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

Function:

This position will supportthe educationalprogramat Klamath Basin Behavioral Health and the students as they transition back to their neighborhood school.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree requirement;

Knowledge of, experience with, and comfort in using technology;

Experience working withnon-traditional students,

The employee is expected to be dressed and groomed in a neat, clean and appropriate and professional manner for the assignment and work setting;

Ability to communicate and work with students who have faced adverse situationsand have experienced trauma;

Ability to work well with staff and students at KBBH and Klamath Falls City Schools;

Ability to maintain professionalrelationships with staff and students;

Beflexible, creative, and a problemsolver;

Knowledge of basic computer and clerical skills

Duties:

Assist classroom teacher with day-to-day operation of the KBBH classroom.

Support students leaving KBBH for successful re-entry into neighborhood schools.

Support family with student re-entering the community

Ensure students re-enroll in their local school if they remain in Klamath County

Complete exit survey with students leaving KBBH facility

Monitor and report various metrics as required by ODE and USDOE.

Check in with a student multiple times after exiting KBBH to check progress

Partner with community organizations to support students

Promote community education programs by helping students explore their options

Support students in creating resumes and goal sheets

Follow up with students about their goals

Other duties as assigned
