The milk receiver relief operator’s primary responsibilities are to unload all incoming milk products, test all incoming milk for antibiotics and acidity prior to unloading, load out any product ready for shipment, and CIP all equipment used for milk transfer. Clean the receiving area, exterior stainless piping, floors, bays, walls, and any other duties assigned. Record test results of antibiotics and acidity tests on a log sheet and perform antibiotic confirmation testing and report results.
Employees shall follow all the plant safety and quality rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, and maintain compliance with regulations.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Screen all incoming milk tankers for acidity, antibiotics and temperature.
Unload milk into the proper storage silos.
Load out any bulk products that are ready for shipment.
CIP milk tankers, SILO’s and equipment used for milk transfer, and keep the receiving bays, SILO rooms, and receiving office clean.
Maintain proper rotation of product and SILO’s to assure cleaning is performed in a timely manner.
Must have a basic understanding of computers to operate equipment and perform SAP transaction.
General Expectations: Employee must come to work promptly and regularly, work under the supervision of others, at times under stressful conditions, meet deadlines, and work professionally with others at all times. The Relief Milk Receiving Operator is also expected to provide coverage in other department areas based on production needs when not assigned to milk receiving.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $25.13. The pay range is a good‑faith estimate; final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location.
