Logistics Operator
in
Tanner AL . Our client is a leading manufacturer in lightweight, aluminum high pressure die casting structural and power train parts. The
Logistics Operator
is responsible for as follows.
The
Logistics Operator
will load/unload aluminum castings from CNC and assembly machines. The
Logistics Operator
will also straighten and or polish aluminum castings using a variety of pneumatic equipment and hand tools. As a Forklift Operator you will be ensuring safe operations and safe driving practices.
Shift: 10:30p.m-6:30a.m.
Responsibilities of a
Logistics Operator
includes:
Must be able to control output of machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications.
Perform quality checks on the finished product to verify conformance to specifications and insure quality standards are met.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Perform setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Operators will be trained to preform tasks.
Follow all 5S and safety initiatives, and .
Unload and load materials
Identify damages or deficiencies and properly log/report to Logistics Manager
Report shortages
REQUIRED Experience and Education
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have 2 years of experience as a Forklift/tugger Operator
Must have 12 of continuous work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment; and/or equivalent military experience.
Must be quality conscious, paying a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
Must have excellent hand and eye coordination
