PRODUCTION SHIFT LEADER - NOGARA PLANT
Directly reporting to the Production Area Manager, you will ensure shift/line production plan execution, providing products of defined quality, at optimal cost, by organizing team members and available assets. You will ensure health and safety requirements according to law and in line with HSE policies.
Main Responsibilities
Organizes work allocation on the line to ensure optimal production plan execution
Organizes work in the shift to ensure regular preventive maintenance of the lines/systems/machines
Ensures food safety requirements for finishing goods produced
Ensures health and safety requirements according to law (Legislative Decree no. 81/10) and in line with HSE policies, guidelines and internal procedures, as the person in charge in the relevant production area (preposto)
Organizes problem‑solving sessions and related activities with team members and key stakeholders
Ensures production plan execution in the shift (performance to schedule)
Ensures shift/team KBIs delivery (SLE, Yields, GMP etc.)
Ensures shift reports are prepared on time and according to agreed requirements
Ensures team members develop the right skill set for performing their job effectively
Ensures team members have clear responsibilities and objectives
Recognizes good performance and addresses poor performance quickly
Supports and suggests continuous process improvements (suggests updates of tools for processing operators’ suggestions and ideas)
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Management Engineering, or Technical Diploma
Minimum 4 years of relevant production experience
Previous experience in team management
Willingness to work shifts (including weekends and nights)
Understanding of food and beverage technology
Good knowledge of maintenance procedures
Good organizational & time management skills Knowledge of interpreting policies, procedures, and systems in manufacturing
Delegation & setting priorities skills
Problem‑solving skills
Drive for results
Conflict resolution
Ability to set clear standards for performance
Ability to act as a positive leader
Teamwork skills and mindset
Willingness to experiment and try new ideas
Good knowledge of English language
