Regular Salary:
$20.06 per hour Mon\-Fri and $21.06 per hour for night shifts (11PM Friday to 11PM Sunday). Non-work time will be paid at the base rate.

DPD is one of the largest Catholic Charities agencies providing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the United States. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.
Role: Direct Support Professional / Residential Counselor (DSP) What’s the role of a DSP?
Residential Counselor is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the group home.
Assist and/or supervise individuals in personal care areas such as bathing/toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning, cooking and life skills.
Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and individuals living in the homes.
Drive residents to/from day programs, outside/within their community using agency vehicles.
Daily documentation of services provided.
Assist with fun community based activities.

Job Requirements
Motivated to work as part of a team that acts in the best interest of our residents at all times.
Experience with ID/DD population is a plus.
HS diploma or equivalent.
Valid (non-provisional) driver’s license.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and emergency evacuation procedures.
All offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of criminal background, references, DMV check, fingerprinting, pre‑employment physical and drug test, etc.
All staff must attend a monthly Staff Meeting – date/time to be determined and announced in advance.
Meeting waivers are provided for conflicts due to secondary employment and/or school (appropriate documentation required).
