What You’ll Do:
Guide and reassure patients
– explain procedures and treatments before and after endoscopic procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
Deliver exceptional care
– administer medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques.
Monitor and respond
– observe patients, record significant conditions, and notify physicians of changes or reactions.
Stay vigilant
– take vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to life‑saving situations following established protocols.
Maintain safety and compliance
– adhere to infection control standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively
– keep patients and care teams informed throughout the continuum of care.
Document thoroughly
– ensure accurate and timely charting in accordance with legal and medical standards.
Contribute to quality improvement
– participate in initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
One to three years of related experience and/or training.
Maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing education.
Complete all mandatory reviews/educational requirements and assignments.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
Actively committed to meeting/exceeding employee expectations/satisfaction in the performance of job functions.
Retain all accreditations, licensures, and designations in good standing.
Maintain compliance with all laws and applicable regulatory requirements; act promptly to comply with required changes.
Specialized knowledge required – including any required certificates, licenses, and registration.
Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state.
BLS required.
ACLs required within 6 months of hire.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Great attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
