About the Role As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing preventive dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform thorough dental cleanings, assess patients' oral health, and educate them on proper dental hygiene practices. You will work closely with dentists to develop treatment plans and ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated on the latest dental technologies and practices. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improving patients' overall health and enhancing their smiles.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field.

Experience working in a dental practice or clinical setting.

Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.

Assist dentists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene and participate in continuing education.

Skills The required skills for this position include strong communication abilities, which are essential for educating patients about their oral health and addressing any concerns they may have. Attention to detail is crucial when performing dental cleanings and documenting patient records accurately. Interpersonal skills will help you build rapport with patients, making them feel comfortable during their visits.
