Occupational Therapist (OT) – PRN – Stuart, FL
Step Up Rehab is offering a PRN Occupational Therapist position at our Stuart facility. This role provides a flexible schedule while you deliver high-quality rehabilitative care.
Responsibilities In this role, you will provide exceptional rehabilitative care in a supportive environment, using evidence‑based practices to enhance patient outcomes. You will interpret physician directions, recommend treatment programs, collaborate with medical staff, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Successfully completed an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as an occupational therapist in Florida.
Membership in state and national American Occupational Therapy Associations is a plus.
Strong administrative, interpersonal, and public relations skills.
Thorough understanding of OT principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of safety hazards and precautionary measures during treatment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and medical staff.
Ability to interpret physician directives and recommend effective treatment plans.
Demonstrated emotional stability to manage patient care demands.
Commitment to maintaining patient and employee confidentiality.
Preferred: knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement; experience with Net Health.
