Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Transitional Care Unit
Full time. Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
Overview Provides direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs treatments, procedures, and clerical duties within the legal scope of practice. Accepts responsibility for nursing actions and decisions.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and nursing interventions.
Administer treatments and procedures as authorized.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team.
Required Skills
Written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
Basic organizational skills.
Basic computer skills.
Team member abilities.
Clinical education related to specialty.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Principles of patient/family teaching.
Ability to listen and follow directions.
Required Experience and Licensure
Current California LVN license.
Intravenous and Blood Withdrawal Certification.
BLS from the American Heart Association.
LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment.
Location 1225 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90017
Salary $28.00–$45.00 per hour.
