What You'll Do • Perform vascular and other sonographic examinations in an acute care setting.
What We’re Looking For
ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification (within 6 months of hire)
Prior acute care experience preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Education & Experience
2‑Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT‑approved Sonography Program; or CAAHEP‑recognized Sonography Program, required.
Minimum one year experience in vascular sonography, required.
Licensure / Certification
Certified and registered by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or by ARDMS in Vascular Technology or by CCI in Vascular Specialist RT(S)(VS), or RDMS,RT(VS), RDMS,RVT,VT, or RT(S)(RVS), RDMS,(RVS), required.
Additional Skills
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
Good communication skills.
Capacity to work independently in diagnostic rooms.
Working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment.
Ability to adapt to new situations and procedures according to patient age.
Interpret information to identify patient care needs based on age‑specific requirements.
Basic computer skills.
