What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the predetermination/precertification process
Develop and implement policies to optimize the pre-certification process and minimize financial losses
Directly interact with patients to discuss non-coverage and create self-pay financial plans
Monitor staffing levels through reporting and adjust workloads as necessary
Provide operational oversight of operating room scheduling activities to ensure timely case scheduling and authorization
What is Required (Qualifications)
No specific education or certification is required for this position
No specific work experience is required for this position
Must demonstrate supervisory management skills
Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in precertification and/or medical management is preferred
Associate degree is preferred
