Seeking a

Board-Certified PA or NP

to support

Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery

patients in a

nocturnal inpatient role . This is a

locum tenens

backfill assignment with

no OR or ICU CT surgery coverage required .

Position Details

Schedule:

7 on / 7 off 12-hour night shifts (7 PM 7 AM)

Call:

None

Setting: Vascular Surgery : ICU (co-managed with Critical Care) + Floor

Setting: Cardiothoracic Surgery : Floor only

Patient Load:

per shift 30-bed department

Team:

12 RNs, 2 PA/NPs

EMR:

Epic

No rounding required

focus on admissions, consults, and changes in condition.

Requirements

Board Certified PA or NP

ACLS & BLS

Active NC License (no exceptions)

Clean file for temp privileges

Clinical Focus

50/50 split:

Vascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery

All major vascular operations (no ruptures/dissections)

No OR responsibilities
