Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles using diagnostic tools and in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership guidelines.
Perform maintenance and repair services on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.
Identify any mechanical issues or malfunctions and implement effective solutions to address them.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Ensure all repair work is documented accurately, including parts used and labor time, to maintain integrity and transparency.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining vehicle conditions and repair recommendations to service advisors or customers as needed.
Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, technical advancements, and automotive technologies.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an automotive technician, specifically with used vehicles.
Certification from a recognized automotive technical program or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and automotive repair tools.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
