We are currently in search of an Electrical Engineer to join our Tennessee Operations near Knoxville, TN.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an electrical engineering field
Minimum of 3 years' experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ladder logic and programming/troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLC experience is preferred.
Experience specifying, installing and troubleshooting DC and AC motor drives systems.
Experience with networking equipment, installation, troubleshooting and commissioning. (Ideally as it pertains to Automation Communication).
Experience with power distribution systems.
Manufacturing experience in the metals or similar industry, with aluminum rolling or processing preferred.
Experience with rolling mills and mill controls, shears, strip processing and coiling, metal process furnaces or casting equipment
Technical knowledge to support the installation, operation, and repair of electrical controls and automation technology.
