Job Title:
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic

Reports To:
Maintenance Supervisor or Director of Maintenance
Job Summary We are seeking a certified and detail-oriented A&P Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team. The A&P Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure they meet FAA safety and regulatory standards. This role requires hands‑on technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections to ensure airworthiness.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, landing gear, brakes, and avionics.
Use diagnostic tools such as ammeters, compression checkers, and ignition analyzers.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.
Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
Required Qualifications
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in commercial or regional aircraft maintenance.
Familiarity with aviation maintenance software.
Military aviation maintenance experience is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills.
Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various conditions.
