Base Pay Range
$90,000 - $125,000 per year.

Position Summary The Construction Project Manager leads and directs construction projects for Universal Studio Hollywood. The role manages projects against budget, schedule, and specifications, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
Responsibilities
Operate and coordinate park‑wide construction projects.
Develop and implement capital plans, ensuring cost‑effective execution.
Pre‑qualify and evaluate potential construction vendors; manage logistics, access, and insurance requirements.
Review design documents and existing facility status to identify deficiencies.
Obtain governmental inspections and approvals through final certificate of occupancy.
Serve as interface between Facility Engineering, Park Operations, Entertainment, Creative, EH&S, and other departments.
Prepare project work plans, schedules, estimates, and related documentation.
Support plan, schedule, and cost approvals through direct interaction with stakeholders.
Manage site access, logistics, and staging area inventories for contractors.
Oversee progress payments, walk‑throughs, and inspections.
Handle punch list, close‑out documentation, and final submittals (shop drawings, warranties, lien waivers, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
Over 3 years of project management or maintenance planning experience with a general contractor or project management firm; Project Management certification preferred.
Proficiency in local/regional codes, construction documents, and contracts.
Experience managing multiple projects and contractors, including tenant improvement, ground‑up, and technology projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to conduct accurate quantity surveys and cost estimates.
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, water treatment, plumbing, construction, painting, landscaping, and facility life/safety systems.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with short notice.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) and AutoCAD.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in theme park operations.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate across all employee levels and provide assistance to co‑workers.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time‑management skills.
Ability to multi‑task and remain flexible.
Experience managing in a union environment.
