Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Rockledge, FL. Interested?

Responsibilities The Composite Technician will fabricate and assemble composite parts using resins, fiberglass, carbon fabrics, structural adhesives, rivets, and threaded and blind fasteners; or perform operations such as trimming, drilling, sanding, and painting of composites; or set and operate resin transfer molding machines and ovens in the processing area. The composite technician performs all duties in compliance with MSP ME-001 to establish controls and responsibilities relative maintaining a suitable environment for the fabrication of composite structures.

All technicians follow and accurately complete work orders for assemblies.

Layup Manufacturing Technicians are trained on specific program parts using the SWO to develop their competencies.

Cuts fiberglass or carbon material to size, following templates or blueprints, using scissors, or Knife.

Marks identifying information on material and assembles material in kits for subsequent laminating.

Applies layers of dry or impregnated cloth onto mold fixture in pre‑determined ply sequence and presses cloth to fit contours of mold, smooths surface, and removes air pockets and excess resin using squeegee, scraper, spatula, and/or other tools.

Benefits Pay: $17/hr

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st and 2nd Shifts)

1st Shift 6:00AM-3:30PM

2nd Shift 2:30PM-11:30PM - .50 shift diff

Length: Temp

Job Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience

What Sets You Apart

Experience using Microsoft Office

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Ability to become certified to wear a respirator

Organized

Detail oriented

Strong Communication Skills

Comfortability working overtime when needed
