Summary

Our award-winning client is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer specializing in Mechanical Engineering for healthcare facilities, your primary responsibility is the project engineering and construction administration of local, regional, and national healthcare projects. This role involves close collaboration with Owners, Architects, and the Engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will play a vital role in growing and maintaining client relationships, mentoring lower-level engineers, taking ownership of projects, and providing valuable assistance in senior-level tasks.

Responsibilities

Project Engineering and Construction Administration: Lead and oversee the mechanical engineering and construction aspects of healthcare projects across various scales (local, regional, national).

Collaborate effectively with Owners, Architects, and the Engineering team to achieve project goals.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to enhance project success and foster long-term partnerships.

Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and lead lower-level engineers to promote professional development and team growth.

Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely completion.

Senior-Level Assistance: Provide support in senior-level tasks, contributing your expertise to complex engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications

Reside within approximately 150 miles of Charlotte, NC

Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Hold a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.

Proficient in Revit to facilitate efficient project execution.

Demonstrate expertise in facilities design engineering, with a focus on healthcare, higher education, K-12, or similar projects.

While not mandatory, prior experience in healthcare design is desirable and will be considered an asset.
