Responsibilities

Champion safety and ensure all work is completed safely.

Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and create deficiency repair lists.

Plan methods and sequencing of assigned maintenance tasks.

Research and order all parts and materials required for maintenance.

Perform repairs efficiently and effectively, confirming all repairs are completed as assigned.

Return unused parts and materials per established methods.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace and service truck.

Power wash and clean equipment and attachments as needed.

Maintain legible records of notes, time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases.

Employ the 3 C’s (complaint, cause, correction) in documentation for all repairs.

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and methods.

Maintain and care for all shop and truck tools, equipment, and vehicles in your possession.

Provide the "Cutting Edge of Customer Service" to all customers.

Conduct communication with co‑workers and customers professionally and honestly.

Consistently advocate for Company Wrench and our equipment brand at all times.

Complete all assigned training, both virtual and in‑person; overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of industry experience.

Class A or B CDL, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.

Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.

Strong diagnostic abilities and mindset.

Good communication skills.

Safe work habits.

Ability and experience to perform repairs for all major equipment systems.

Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.

Possess all required tooling smaller than one‑inch drive.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Proficient understanding of hydraulic pressure and flow.

Proficient in Ohm’s Law and using a digital multimeter.

Physical Requirements The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this role. Regularly required to speak and listen. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision or corrected vision abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
