Role: Manufacturing Planning Specialist
Client: Defense-Aerospace
Hourly Rate: up to $32/hr (W2, non-benefited)
Length: Long-term
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire.
As a Manufacturing Planning Specialist, you'll create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules. You'll oversee the master schedule and ensure compliance with material requirements for manufacturing and manage the procurement planning for a medium size. You may also develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain, while maintaining the forecast in the production and material planning tool and updating as required.
Required & Desired Skills
Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles
Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles
Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations
Strong multi-task skills while maintaining focus on details
Ability to prioritize program material needs with supply chain and internal shops as appropriate
Understanding of engineering changes and their effect on the bill of material
Ability to understand, research and reconcile financial errors
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
