Automation Technician (1st Shift)
for a 1-year onsite contract in Tucson, AZ.
Schedule
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
1-year assignment with possibility of extension or conversion
100% onsite
$25–$28/hr (based on experience)
Position Overview The Automation Technician will support manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated and semi-automated production and test equipment. This role also supports equipment improvements, new installations, validations, and calibrations while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Skills & Experience
2–3 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing or production equipment
Strong hands‑on mechanical aptitude
Experience with PMs, inspections, and equipment assembly/disassembly
Ability to learn new mechanical processes and support/train team members
Strong communication and organizational skills
