We are currently looking for a Service Technician/Porter to join our team at a property in Dallas, TX.
Administrative/Office
Meet daily with Service Manager to communicate & manage the workflow of all make‑readies, service repairs and special projects. Organize & file appropriate reports and daily. Manage & complete make‑ready checklists & all other required maintenance documentation. Maintenance & Safety
Complete all needed repairs & improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move‑in by following the make‑ready checklist including: windows blinds, sheetrock repair, caulk & seal all windows, sinks, toilets and baths, touch‑up paint, lighting. Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure washing breezeways & pool areas, painting curbs/signs/exteriors, and performing general cleaning as needed. Change all locks & ensure all gates are working according to code & the property’s policy. Assist with all preventative maintenance as well as “special projects” as needed. Resident Relations
Accept service requests from work order log and complete them quickly & thoroughly. Maintain positive customer service and “can do” attitude at all times. Distribute notices & communications to residents as needed. Requirements
6 months of related experience & training required. Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) certification preferred. Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is preferred, but not required. Renovation experience preferred.
