Registered Nurse Medical Specialties Regional Resource Pool
Location: Charlottesville, VA.
Work Shift: Rotating.
Position: A self‑scheduling full‑time RN in the Medical Specialties Regional Resource Pool. You are required to pre‑schedule at least 144 hours per month (36 hours per week) in the API, including 48 hours on a weekend shift and 48 hours on an off shift that starts after 3pm. Premium differential pay, flexible scheduling, and a self‑scheduling system are offered. Availability must be provided at least two weeks in advance.
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months of acute care RN experience.
Must be able to work in all units for which you are qualified and in a minimum of two different units.
Must reside within 75 miles and 90 minutes of two hospitals in the Northern Virginia or Blue Ridge region: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (Woodbridge, VA), Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital (Harrisonburg, VA), and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital (Charlottesville, VA).
Education
Registered Nurse Diploma (Required).
Certification / Licensure
Registered Nurse License (Required).
All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
Experience
Minimum of 18 months of recent experience as RN in an acute care setting.
Must be available to work 36 hours per week full‑time: a minimum of 144 hours per month, including 48 hours on a weekend shift and 48 hours on an off shift (any shift that starts after 3pm).
