Senior Clinical Trial Manager – Clinical Operation
Overview We are seeking a
Senior Clinical Trial Manager
to lead the planning and execution of
oncology clinical trials
from start-up through close-out. This role involves managing external vendors and study sites while collaborating with internal teams to ensure trials are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and company standards. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Operations and contributes to trial strategy, operational execution, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead oncology clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
Ensure study documentation and files are complete and inspection-ready.
Organize and lead meetings, capturing key decisions and action items.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and cross-functional team efforts.
Ensure team compliance with study-specific training and standard procedures.
Support sites with audits and inspections.
Assist with budget and operational management.
Monitor study progress, metrics, and quality across sites.
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational issues.
Support study set-up, regulatory submissions, and operational documentation.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain trial progress.
Support study close-out activities.
Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with several years of hands‑on clinical trial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related environments.
Direct experience managing oncology clinical trials, including start‑up, monitoring, and close‑out.
Experience managing vendors and clinical trial sites.
Knowledge of clinical trial regulations and good clinical practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Comfort with technology and standard office software.
