Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Active, unrestricted driver’s license
Knowledge of recovery principles and the recovery‑driven service system
Understanding of adults with serious mental illness and/or intellectual developmental disability
Description Merakey is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) based in Wilkes Barre, PA. The RN will provide high‑quality, recovery‑oriented care to individuals diagnosed with both a mental illness and an intellectual disability.
Schedule
– 40 hours per week, 1st shift, Monday – Friday
Compensation
– $37.60 per hour plus mileage reimbursement
Position Details
– The RN will serve Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna Counties. The role is field‑based: the RN will visit consumers in their homes, travel between sites, and document all work in the electronic medical record.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to implement recovery‑oriented, person‑centered treatment and support plans
Perform physical health monitoring, assessment, and other medical tasks
Support delivery of intensive therapeutic services in diverse settings, including community living arrangements, schools, community settings, and natural support residences
Complete accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Participate in a shared on‑call rotation
