Mercy
Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details Location:
Mercy Hospital Stoddard, 1200 North 1 Mile Rd, Dexter, MO 63841.
Hours/Schedule:
PRN - Behavioral Health Unit.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure:
Personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other certifications required may include ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit‑specific certifications as required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
