PRN Registered Nurse – PACU/PreOP

is seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Nurse to support our Patient Acute Care Unit (PACU) and Preoperative (PreOP) services. The role is integral to maintaining high standards of patient care during the perioperative cycle.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
Associate’s of Nursing (Required); Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred).
Current BLS, ACLS, and CPR certification; additional certifications may be considered (e.g., PALS, CPEN, CCNS, ABLS, CEEMF).
Experience in an acute/critical care environment is highly desirable.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Schedule PRN – Day shift (United States of America)
Pay Range $31.53 – $52.24 per hour
