Head Start Licensed Behavioral Health Coordinator

Capital Area Head Start is seeking a full time Licensed Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our mission of making a difference in the lives of children, empowering parents, and strengthening families.
As a Licensed Behavioral Health Coordinator, you will implement and coordinate social-emotional supports for children and families. This includes crisis intervention, emergency assistance, child abuse prevention, and case management. Services are provided throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry counties.
Licensed Behavioral Health Coordinators earn a minimum of $27.39 and have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K, career advancement, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and more!
Qualifications
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
Valid license in social work or related mental health field
Significant experience/knowledge in behavioral health supports for pregnant mothers, children ages 0-5, working with at risk families, emergency assistance, crisis intervention, family advocacy and trauma informed practices
Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and learn web-based systems
Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle, or public transportation
Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
Passion, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to make a difference
Experience in Head Start or Early Head Start is preferred
