Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-Time 2nd Shift
Join North Shore Health for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) part‑time 2nd shift role. Wages go up to $37.00 per hour.
Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, a Licensed Practical Nurse performs the care of residents and patients during their shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the resident’s/patient’s plan of care; maintaining resident/patient safety; and supervising nursing assistants. The LPN follows all Center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Education and Experience:
Licensed in the State as an LPN
Current CPR certification required
Proficient with necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication cart, etc.)
Ability to calculate drug dosages
Meets all health requirements imposed by law
Positive, effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
Fluent in English; basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications
