Job Description Jennifer Byrd, RD and Associates is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative services for our long‑term care facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality of nutritional care and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday with flexible schedule
Core Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Care
Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for patients upon new admission, annually, and following any significant change of condition (status change).
Provide focused nutritional review and intervention for high‑risk residents, including those with:
Pressure Injuries
(Wound care management)
Patients receiving
Enteral Feeding
(Tube feeding management)
Patients on
Dialysis
Provide ongoing medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and patient counseling as required.
Administrative & Regulatory Oversight
Conduct monthly kitchen oversight to ensure sanitation, food safety, and compliance standards are met.
Develop and deliver engaging staff in‑service training sessions on topics related to nutrition, dietary protocols, and best practices.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation (EHR) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
Licensure:
Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Experience:
1–2 years of clinical experience, specifically within a Long‑Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting desired.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for long‑term care.
Attributes:
