Responsibilities
This is mainly a task-based data entry role.
Work with Smart Meter Interval data.
Interrogate interval data meters, process data through validation, editing, and estimation (VEE) techniques, and store processed data in a database for use in customer data requests, load research studies, and/or by Special Contract Billing.
Produce data in tabular and graphical forms for publication.
Tabulate new customer data requiring mapping of new residential, commercial, and industrial loads.
Develop monthly performance indicators, involving calculation of variance for certain sales and revenue quantities.
Complete special projects as assigned by supervision and/or planning analysts.
Qualifications
High school graduate.
Some college courses could be helpful. (No higher than an Associates degree).
Attention to detail.
Learns software quickly.
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Comfortable working with large volumes of data.
Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics awards its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one certification bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus, which will be awarded 90 days after Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
