What You’ll Do Your Impact

Ready to work each day amidst the sand dunes and pines, offering guests the true and lasting beauty of Provincetown and Old Cape Cod? As a Ranger at Dune’s Edge, you and your team of dedicated seasonal employees will contribute to the Trustees’ mission by caring for this quaint, special campground and fostering a camping experience that visitors will remember for years to come.

The Role

As a Dunes Edge Campground Ranger, you support the daily operations and maintenance of Dunes Edge Campground and its camp spots as well as retail and recreational operations. You would also support the manager in providing safe, clean, and enjoyable visitor experience for campers and ensuring that the campground operates efficiently and effectively.

Support campground operations, including the maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment

Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations

Support development and maintenance of campground policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Process reservations, handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints

Support marketing strategies to attract new customers, including use of social media accounts

Ensure customer satisfaction by regularly seeking feedback and addressing concerns

This is a limited term, non-exempt position (20-40 hours per week) reporting directly to Dune’s Edge Campground Manager.

What You’ll Need Skills and Experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Experience in hotel operations, campground or retail management is a plus

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and some overnights.

Eligibility Criteria

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of campground operations and regulations

Current authorization to work in the United States – a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment.

A valid driver’s license, as well as a satisfactory driving record as outlined in The Trustees’ driving policy. [if needed]

A satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check.
