Shop Technician
to join our team in
Bossier, LA . In this role, you’ll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of equipment and machinery in our shop. You’ll collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and customer service representatives to deliver excellent service and technical support. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, maintain, and repair various types of equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes
Conduct equipment inspections to identify current or potential problems
Assemble, install, and test new equipment per specifications
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of parts and repairs
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Provide high-quality customer service and support
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technologies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Participate in company safety and quality programs
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications a plus)
Previous experience as a shop technician or in a similar mechanical role
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Clear and effective communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Understanding of safety standards and best practices
Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory systems
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands/arms to operate tools and equipment
Occasional lifting of parts or equipment up to 45 lbs
May involve extended periods of sitting while operating vehicles or machinery
