Lancaster Veterinary Specialties – Lancaster, Pennsylvania (also based in Lancaster, Nebraska) is a specialty practice founded in 2012. Our team of highly trained doctors performs a wide array of specialized procedures for the surrounding area and beyond, striving to provide a world‑class experience for every referral we receive. We offer cardiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, oncology, radiology and surgery services and welcome experienced and new veterinary professionals excited to join a dynamic and collaborative team.
We are looking for a veterinary technician with 23 years of experience who is curious about specialty medicine and ready to build advanced skills without sacrificing work‑life balance. The ideal candidate enjoys a drama‑free collaborative environment where learning is encouraged.
No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
The Role
Anesthesia monitoring and advanced procedures
Surgical and internal‑medicine case support
Gradual cross‑training and exposure to additional specialties
Learning to run CT scans as skills grow
What We’re Looking For
23 years of previous veterinary experience (general practice welcomed)
Licensed technician encouraged to apply (not required)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Compassionate, team‑oriented and eager to learn
Commitment to excellent patient care and professionalism
Proficient in all basic veterinary tech skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medical terminology, surgical prep and some anesthesia experience
Specialty experience is not required—we love to teach.
