Job Details We are seeking a Dental Hygiene Instructor to educate, mentor, and prepare students for successful careers in dental hygiene. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction while supporting student development, academic success, and professional readiness.
Deliver engaging didactic and/or clinical instruction in dental hygiene coursework.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and accreditation standards.
Supervise students in lab and clinical settings, ensuring patient safety and best practices.
Evaluate student performance through exams, competencies, and clinical assessments. Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback to students.
Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.
Collaborate with faculty and campus leadership to support program outcomes and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Active Dental Hygiene license (state‑appropriate or eligible).
Associate’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred).
Prior teaching, precepting, or clinical training experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and student success.
