The Gluten Free Baking Company (GFB) is hiring a

Transport Driver/Box Truck Driver

to help load, unload, and deliver gluten‑free bakery products safely and on time. This role supports daily warehouse and delivery operations by handling products, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, completing basic paperwork, and following safety, food safety, and company procedures. Load and transport products from the manufacturing facility to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Unload inbound freight and properly receive and store ingredients in the appropriate locations.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Unload trailers with a hand truck, forklift, and or electric pallet jack.

Load trailers with a hand truck, forklift, and or electric pallet jack.

Drive from location to location.

Prepare paperwork that applies to bakery truck checklists and check loads with receiving records and lot code tracking paperwork.

Unloading and loading with a hand truck.

Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Chain and unchain truck as needed in the winter.

Picking and stacking products on pallets for shipping.

Rotate and inventory finished bakery products and ingredients on a first in first out basis.

Perform other duties as required.

Ability to

Operate and receive electric pallet jack and forklift qualifications.

Read and Write in English.

Push and pull approximately 2,500 lb. pallets with an electric pallet jack (or a manual jack in lieu of electric).

Perform duties efficiently and accurately.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Machines Operated

30 foot box trucks

Electric pallet jack.

Hand truck

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

DOT Medical Exam.
