Responsibilities
Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the Physician’s orders.
Understand and follow the “Six rights” of medication administration and all Bickford policies.
Appropriately utilize the eMAR system.
Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification on medication administration and care.
Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas as appropriate.
Lead by demonstrating the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all other team members on shift.
Qualifications
Active license as an LPN or RN in good standing.
Willing to take additional training or education; specific states may require.
CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and time‑management skills.
Good judgment, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills.
Ability to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system.
