Vet Technician – Good Shepherd Pet Hospital, Odessa, FL
Location Odessa, FL 33556
Schedule Full‑Time (Rotating Saturdays). Hours: Monday–Saturday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm; Wednesday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm.
Pay Range $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience).

Qualifications
Vet Technician with at least 2 years of experience.
Confidence in blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical support.
Comfortable with rotating Saturday shifts and committed to excellent attendance.

Responsibilities
Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics.
Support DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures.
Perform hands‑on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, injections, taking radiographs, and performing EKGs.
Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow.
