Responsibilities As a Clinical Lab Scientist, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting test results. A Part of the team associated with the clinical lab, you will work closely with various clinical departments, including physicians and nursing staff, on testing and providing consultation on laboratory testing issues - an essential member of the continuum of care for our patients.
Qualifications Key Skills:
Be a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the Point of Care Testing (POCT) Department.
Provide Operator Training and Competency for waived and moderately complex testing that is performed by non‑laboratory employees.
Provide POCT equipment monitoring and result management.
Provide Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance oversight for the POCT program.
Collaborate with hospital clinical teams for POCT Program options.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical or Biological Science or Medical Technology required
Licenses and Certifications
CLS - State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required
