Providence Anesthesiology Associates Mobile is hiring a PRN PACU RN in the Charlotte Area. No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays! Flexible Schedule, Office-Based, enjoy the benefits of working in multiple locations.
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Perianesthesia Registered Nurse (RN), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative process. This is a mobile clinical role providing anesthesia support across multiple partner facilities within Charlotte and the surrounding areas. The nurse will rotate between assigned locations based on scheduling needs. This position offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of surgical teams. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to different facility settings and maintaining the same high standards of patient care and professionalism across all locations. Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling are required.

Job Type: Part‑time. PRN schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for anesthesia by assessing their health status and providing education.
Assist anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring smooth and safe anesthesia administration.
Monitor patients' vital signs and responses throughout the perioperative period.
Provide post-anesthesia recovery care, including pain management and patient assessment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and certifications.
Skills and Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, ICU, ER, or PACU.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (if applicable).
Valid driver’s license.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a team.
