School Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: East Side Union School District – Lancaster, CA
Schedule: Full‑Time | 40 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $70/hour or more (based on experience)
Travel Packages Available (for candidates living 50+ miles away)
Position Overview East Side Union School District in Lancaster, CA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school‑based team. This is a full‑time opportunity working 40 hours per week, providing services to students in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop communication skills that support academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and other school‑related meetings as required
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Active California Speech‑Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
Previous school‑based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive pay starting at $70/hour or more, dependent on experience
