Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and treatment
Obtain and record patient medical history and vital signs
Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures
Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Provide patient education and support
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant program
Certification as a Medical Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
