Registered Dietitian
to join their dynamic team and Clinical Nutrition program at
UT Health Tyler
in
Tyler, TX . Position offers a sign‑on bonus.
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal. Professional growth via Sodexo's Career Ladder. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually. Incentives include reimbursement of Academy Dues, CDR, and Licensure.
What You’ll Do
Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients.
Educate patients, family members, and facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification.
Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and be a great team player.

What You Bring
Willingness to cross‑train to provide nutrition care to various patient populations and provide outpatient RD coverage at Cardiac Rehab program.
Participation in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects.

Thriving in a high‑energy, demanding environment; flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications & Requirements
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the ACEND.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire; RD/RDN credentials required at the time of hire in some states or facilities.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice; state certification/licensure required at the time of hire in some states or facilities.
